Interactive family game of bluffing and double bluffing
I'm a regular gamer, but this is a game which I can play with family.

4 players and above works very well. Some will think they are no good at bluffing/lying, but often they surprise themselves. It's recommended to get into the bluffing and bribing aspect of the game as much as you can, as that's were the fun of the game is. It's a really good game for a gregarious group.
A relaxing strategy card game !
This is such a lovely game to play either on your own or with a few friends. Although at first it might take a little while to get used to the gameplay, once you figure it out, it goes really smoothly and you can then begin to be more strategic with your card and egg placements.

The player boards and cards are very well made and I love the feel and look of the eggs. The cards have a nice texture to them which is lovely to feel in your hands and with good care they would probably last a life time. Putting the little birdhouse dice tower together was fun and it just looks gorgeous as well.

The illustrations are also gorgeous. Realistic but still with an added touch of magic to them ! It is such a visually-pleasing game and you also get to learn little facts about the birds.

Lastly, the discount code for the game on Steam is such a nice touch too ! The online version of the game has a few added plus like hearing the calls of the birds and the nice little animations of the cards.
A great expansion
Unlike the European expansion this expansion changes the base game quite a bit. Building in different habitats has been altered to add more weight to food and cards. There is also more interaction between players here. Not huge but more than the base game. You also get a new food type which is quite interesting as it can be used in place of any other food and the amount you spend works towards end of game points. This expansion has been a great addition to the base game which we will bring in and out to give us different game play options.
Great and replayable
Wingspan at first is quite a complex game as there are a number of mechanics involved in game play. But after 1 or 2 games you will be comfortable with them all. The thing that is great about this game is that every game is very different. You can't rely on playing the game exactly the same everytime. The variation of cards and engine building means that you need to adapt and build your own success. Figuring out a strategy or making hard decisions is what makes this game fun.
