Nemesis Lockdown is the first stand alone expansion to Nemesis. Survive an alien-infested lab on Mars but beware of other players and their agendas.
The sequel to Nemesis, (actually this review translates perfectly to that game also), which has you try to escape from a spaceship infested with a 'non-copyright infringing' horde of Xenomorphs, and a Corporation agent traitor (maybe).
This time you're trying to escape from a mining station on the surface of Mars.
The Xenos are different, as well as some
streamlined mechanics, but the tension these games create is second to none.
It's very hard to survive in this game, let alone win, but that's the whole point of it.
Knowing there's a Corporate operative (maybe) working against you, whilst trying to evade the creatures and fulfill your own secret objective(s), will provide great stories, win or lose.
The feeling of playing a part in your own Sci-Fi horror movie is exhilarating.
Excellent production values too, the cardboard tokens are thick and durable, nice finish on the cards, the minis are very nicely made although I do prefer the sculpts from the OG Nemesis.
All in all, highly recommended.
