Go is a fascinating strategy game for two players. The game was invented in China more than 2,500 years ago and is believed to be the oldest board game continuously played to the present day.

The aim of the game is to conquer as large areas as possible on the game board and to fix the opponent's pieces.

Thanks to the few rules, Go is very easy to understand, but it has an infinite number of variations in the course of the game.

Despite its relatively simple rules, Go is extremely complex. Compared to chess, Go has both a larger board with more scope for play and longer games and, on average, many more alternatives to consider per move.

The game includes a game board and white and black game pieces.

Each player receives pieces of one colour and has to place them on the intersection of the game board during the game.

The winner is whoever has conquered the most areas and opposing pieces.
