    A rewarding purchase

This review is based on having played the game once. It can be played with only one player but works best with a group. The players work cooperatively. The game lives up to its promise insofar as each investigation requires the player to be super attentive to detail and constantly concentrating. There’s lots of reading involved such as interview transcripts or newspaper articles. It’s packed with detail and each investigation will take several hours to complete. I highly recommend it for anyone who loves detective novels. The method for calculating the score at the end of each investigation is perhaps a little superfluous. Not for those who enjoy mousetrap.

    This is a really fun

This is a really fun game for a small group. It is cooperative, which makes it family-friendly for older kids. The level of detail and planning that went into the construction of the game is impressive and the cases are truly challenging. We haven't beaten Sherlock yet - but we'll keep trying!
